We understand that finances can be a barrier to receiving timely health care. Pines Health Services offers a Sliding Fee Discount Program to help you find the best solution to fit your needs.

Patients who do not have adequate health insurance may be eligible for free or low-cost health care services through our Sliding Fee Discount Program. Any charges for services are based on the patient’s household income and family size. This “sliding fee scale” means that patients least able to pay for health care qualify for the most financial assistance.
Our Financial Counseling team is available to assist patients in person at Cary Medical Center 163 Van Buren Road, Caribou, ME 04736 Monday through Friday 8AM-4PM.
Sliding Fee Scale and Application
Along with other factors, eligibility for our Sliding Fee Discount Program is determined by annual income. The income guidelines used to determine eligibility are updated annually.
