Description:
Pines Health Services has two immediate openings for full-time Medical Office Specialists at their Women’s & Children’s Health Center located in Caribou. Qualified applicants must demonstrate a commitment to the vision, mission, and goals of PHS, modeling the values and culture while delivering exceptional patient care. The position will be responsible for scheduling patients, answering phones, and scanning medical charts into the electronic medical record. Qualified individuals must have a high degree of self-motivation, professionalism, and initiative, and must exhibit excellent communication skills. The successful applicant should also possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Previous medical office experience preferred. Computer experience and medical terminology are a plus.

Medical Office Specialist/Referral Coordinator

Pines Health Services has an immediate opening for a full-time Medical Office Specialist at its Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Health Center located in Caribou. Qualified applicants must demonstrate a commitment to the vision, mission, and goals of PHS, modeling the values and culture while delivering exceptional patient care. The position will be responsible for scheduling patients, answering phones, and scan medical charts into an electronic medical record. Additional responsibilities as Referral Coordinator include scheduling all patient-physician referrals and tests that require appointments and notifies patients of the appointment dates, process all insurance referrals for all providers at Pines Health Services, process insurance appeals, receive all phone calls regarding patient referrals, and completes paperwork for physician approval. Qualified individuals must have a high degree of self-motivation, professionalism, and initiative, and must exhibit excellent communication skills. The successful applicant should also possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Previous medical office experience preferred. Computer experience and medical terminology are a plus.
