Description:
Pines Health Services is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead one of the nation’s top Federally Qualified Health Centers and community –based physician practice in Aroostook County. The experienced professional will lead a team of more than 150 dynamic employees including 45 health care providers with multi-specialty staff. The CEO will work with an engaged Board of Directors in collaboration with Cary Medical Center a General Acute Care Hospital serving Aroostook County since 1924.

The successful applicant will have a minimum five years health care experience at the senior management level. Bachelors Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business or equivalent education required. Masters preferred. Prior experience working within the Federally Qualified Health Center system a plus.

Pines Health Services has an immediate opportunity for a full-time Referral Coordinator. This exciting opportunity is located at the Presque Isle Health Center. Qualified individuals must have a high degree of self-motivation, professionalism, and initiative, and must exhibit excellent communication skills. Duties will include: scheduling all patient physician referrals and tests that require appointments and notifies patients of the appointment dates, process all insurance referrals for all providers at Pines Health Services, process insurance appeals, receive all phone calls regarding patient referrals, and completes paperwork for physician approval. Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding, experience with computers and medical billing procedures strongly preferred. Prior medical office experience is preferred.
